Are you passionate about designing unforgettable puzzle experiences? We’re on the hunt for creative and experienced Level Designers to join our Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds Dream Blast teams. We’re dedicated to pushing the boundaries of the puzzle genre by crafting games that bring pure joy to our players.

- The Senior Level Designer role for Angry Birds Dream Blast is open for preferably Barcelona office. 
- The Staff Level Designer role for Angry Birds Friends is open for either Espoo or Barcelona office.

As a key player on our team, you’ll bring fresh ideas and a new perspective to create levels that truly stand out. You’ll dive into the heart of the game, analyzing what’s working, identifying areas for improvement, and driving exciting new initiatives to enhance the overall gameplay experience. Your work will play a critical role in shaping the success of our games and delivering the kind of experience players love.

We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for puzzle games and is eager to take them to the next level. You’ll help us build deeper gameplay experiences by understanding what motivates and satisfies players, all while keeping their needs at the forefront.

You will have impact and fun at work by:

  • Designing fun, engaging and satisfying levels as a part of our level design team, while also reviewing and providing feedback on levels created by other designers.
  • Evaluating and improving the quality and performance of existing levels to ensure an optimal player experience.
  • Collaborating with designers and other stakeholders on other core game- / level- related features and initiatives such as A/B tests.
  • Working closely with designers, analysts and product managers to monitor and analyse level-related data, using insights to improve overall gameplay.
  • Supporting the team by contributing to various design tasks if needed. 

Experience and skills we are looking for:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in the mobile F2P game industry, with at least 2 years focused on designing levels for casual puzzle games. 
  • A creative thinker who adapts easily and excels at solving complex design challenges.
  • Ability to understand the unique needs of the game and design levels that align with the product vision.
  • Experience working with level data and metrics to fine-tune gameplay and enhance player satisfaction. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience with live games and event-based contents.
  • Strong Unity skills

It would be nice if you also have the following skills:

  • Experience as the owner of at least one area of a game.
  • Knowledge or experience in other design fields, such as UX or game design, is a plus.
