Rovio teams take home 10 industry honors at the 2022 NYX Game Awards!

We’re happy to announce that this week, Rovio’s talented marketing and audio teams have taken home a whopping TEN trophies in the 2022 NYX Game awards! The NYX Game Awards are “an international competition that recognizes creative and technical excellence within the international gaming industry”. The winners were voted upon by a jury comprised of senior level industry experts, with the results of their expert deliberation revealed on Monday, September 19th.

Angry Birds Journey was the big winner of the evening, grabbing four “grand winner” distinctions for its Feathered Frenemies campaign and associated video creatives, in addition to claiming two trophies for Best Music and Best audio design. Angry Birds 2 and Angry Birds Dream Blast were also recognized for their “Fireworks” and “Potty Time” videos, respectively. Lastly, the trailer for Angry Birds Bird Island on Roblox took home awards for Gameplay Experience and Branding.
